Intex Cloud Swift With 4G LTE Support, 3GB RAM Launched at Rs. 8,888


Intex has launched a new smartphone in India on Friday - the Cloud Swift - priced at Rs. 8,888. The Intex Cloud Swift will be exclusively available online via Snapdeal. Pre-orders for the handset begin Friday while the handset will go on sale from Tuesday. The smartphone will be available in Champagne and Grey colour variants. The company is also offering a 1-year screen breakage warranty with the Cloud Swift smartphone.

The dual-SIM Intex Cloud Swift runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, and features a 5-inch (720x1280 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of 320ppi. The new Intex smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735A SoC, coupled with 3GB of RAM. The company says the handset's 3GB RAM is the highlight of the device at this price point.

Sporting an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera, the Intex Cloud Swift also sports a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It bears 16GB of built-in storage that is expandable via microSD card (128GB). Connectivity options include 3G (HSPA+), 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB 2.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Measuring 144.5x72.5x8.9mm, the Intex Cloud Swift is backed by a 2500mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 400 hours of standby time and up to 7 hours of talk time. It bears an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and a proximity sensor.

The handset comes preloaded with apps such as Chaatz, Gaana, Hotstar, Skype, Follo, OneDrive, Newshunt, Clean Master, InMobi Services, OLX, Opera Mini, and Matrabhasha.
