OnePlus 2 rival Moto X Style coming to India soon

Motorola has confirmed that it will soon launch its Moto X Style 'mid-range flagship' smartphone in the Indian market soon.

Answering a number of queries on Twitter, Motorola India confirmed that Moto X Style will be "releasing soon in India." However, the company has not announced a specific launch date or a price band for the smartphone.

Moto X Style was unveiled in August in the US, and comes to India just weeks after its sibling Moto X Play hit the Indian shores.
Considered a rival to OnePlus 2, Moto X Style sports a 5.7-inch QHD (1440x2560p) resolution and runs on the 1.8GHz hexa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 808 chipset with 3GB RAM. It will come in 16, 32 and 64GB internal storage options, with microSD card support up to 128GB. The smartphone has a 5MP front camera, 3,000mAh battery, universal 4G support, and the "world's fastest turbo charging technology."

The 21MP rear camera of the Android 5.1 (Lollipop)-powered Moto X Style is the best in its class, Motorola claims.

It is available for $399 (unlocked) for the 16GB variant in the US, which suggests that it will be priced around Rs 26,000 at launch.

At this price point, it will compete with not only OnePlus 2 (review), but also Lenovo Vibe Shot (review) and Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe.
