Obi Worldphone Thursday launched its SF1 and SJ1.5 smartphones in Vietnam and Dubai. It said that both the devices are priced at an exceptional value and meant for discerning young population in these markets.
The company is now planning to launch these devices in India this month.
"We have access to best distribution and retail partnerships in our target markets, which facilitate our aggressive expansion plans. We plan to launch Obi Worldphone in India within this month," Neeraj Chauhan, Co-founder and CEO of Obi Worldphone, said.
Obi Worldphone was co-founded by John Sculley along with Obi CEO Neeraj Chauhan and other partners last year. Sculley is the former head of Apple & Pepsi-Cola and a successful investor in consumer technology companies.
