Lenovo Z5 Camera Samples Appear, Stamped With “AI Dual Camera” Watermark

Lenovo Z5

As being posted by the Lenovo VP Mr. Cheng, the camera sampled have been inscribed with a watermark that reads “Lenovo Z5” and “AI Dual Camera” adjacent to an infinity-like symbol representing the dual cameras at the back of the device. The watermark comes to say that the Z5 device will come with two cameras at the back that will use the power of artificial intelligence to detect a scene that is being captured and will enable specific camera modes and settings to bring the right amount of colours and details to the picture depending upon what is being clicked. The teaser claims the Z5 smartphone could store up to 1 million photos, 2,000 HD movies, and 150,000 lossless music files, all thanks to the generous 4TB storage. It's not clear if 4TB is in reference to expandable or internal storage, but the breakdown of what users can store suggests built-in storage. If true, Lenovo Z5 will be the world's first smartphone with the highest onboard storage.

The camera samples come with watermark and in this case, the watermark includes the name “Lenovo Z5” and “AI Dual Camera” with the icon of a dual camera by the side of the texts. We believe the watermark feature can be turned on and off in the camera settings. However, they show the Z5 will present with dual cameras and will also have artificial intelligence technology onboard the cameras. The camera samples seem to have been shot at dusk and dawn respectively when there isn’t so much bright light. So, the clarity of the samples is totally dependent on the dual camera’s prowess. The cameras were able to capture the natural colours of the subjects in an impressive way.

As of now, we do not have any clue regarding the innards of the smartphone. We can expect to see the Snapdragon 845 SoC as it is a flagship device. Given that the smartphone is pegged for a June 14 launch, we need to wait for a few more weeks to know what the company has got to offer this time.
