Bharti Airtel, the country's largest telecom service provider, Wednesday launched its Platinum 3G network for customers in Haryana.
The service is available at 3G tariffs. The company said that the Platinum 3G will boost indoor coverage, enhance voice clarity, deliver faster internet speeds and offer a superior network experience for customers.
The Platinum 3G service has lower frequency signals which are able to travel into deep interiors, providing stronger indoor coverage.
Platinum 3G will help optimize the backend engagement between the network and mobile devices, thus allowing customers to enjoy extended battery life on their phones across Ambala, Panipat, Karnal, Hisar, Rohtak, Sonipat, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Kaithal and Jind in first phase.
"The launch of Platinum 3G is an integral part of this commitment and will deliver enhanced voice as well as data connectivity for customers - at existing 3G tariffs. We now invite data savvy customers across 10 towns in Haryana to enjoy Airtel Platinum 3G and experience our world class 'Smartphone Network'," Manu Sood, Hub CEO -Upper North, Bharti Airtel, said in a statement.
Recently, Airtel has introduced 4G services across Ambala, Panipat, Karnal, Hisar, Rohtak, Sonipat and Yamunaagar. With Airtel 4G and Platinum 3G both available in these towns now, Airtel said that it is uniquely positioned in the market.
